Ok not wanting to step on anyone's toes here but there are a couple of usability issues I think could be improved with the site.


* The floating message box is in an element that covers the login box and prevents you logging in
* how about using a cookie and allowing me to stay logged in

Changed the location to centre.

Change the cookies to stick around a while longer ;)

Regarding the ability to stay logged in for longer:

If you log in with the option on the above right hand side next to the "members" option, you will see an option which allows you to increase the time you are logged in by, there is also an option to stay logged in until you choose to log out.
